and 'very interesting, especially for Italy because we have incentives on electricity
I introduce my company is called itallevi snc are producers of sawdust waste from processing in more 'we produce briquettes pressed from ten years of beech
and producers of pellets 5 years
but our company is interested to produce biomass miscanthus prodozione annual 30ton we have a year and we are cultivating a great interest in the production of electrical energy and wanted to install a pilot plant at our site and sell it with your support in case
we have more 'than 2000 customers and 200 businesses and' really interesting collaboration

Hello in regards to your problem with gassification of processes and global scaling of operations I would like to point you not to a person but to a group and now establish foundation that I have been following for the past 8 months, they work on open source tech and I think that someone there might help you guys and vice versa:
Here are the links, and from my part best of luck and I'll keep watching cuz I'm very interested in putting my own turbine multi fuel generator online and your kits might be the most cost effective. Joe R. (from Portugal)

PS: The new GVCS steam engine might be a fit for your exaust steam biproduct

PS2:Let me know if its helpful and i'll send your way other results and resources from my research into integrated energy techs. (mostly OS)

I'm going to answer your question here as well as by email. The largest engine we sell bundled with our units produces something more like 60 HP when running on woodgas. It does have a power take-off that can run a wood chipper. 2.4 kg of woodchips will equal 1 liter of diesel. This means you need 11-20 kg/hr to run the theoretical gasifier that can power your woodchipper.

However, I encourage you to think about it another way. If your heating system is inefficient, the gasifier's syngas may provide more energy per kg of chips (it will not if your combustion is efficient). You might reduce your chip need, and be able to run a smaller chipper off the Power Pallet. The woodchips will replace your diesel & the Pallet will provide shaft power for the chipper, gaseous fuel for the burner, and electricity as a byproduct. I'm guessing, however, that you have made a considerable investment in your chipper.

In the next few years it may be possible to produce diesel from woodchips using a small-scale Fischer-Tropsch reactor. We already offer a bio-oil condenser, but that oil is unrefined. Keep an eye on this website for such a development.

Can anyone answer my question please. We are currently paying 68p for red diesel and burning between 5 and 10 ltr per hour to make wood chip to run heating systems,is there a wood gasification system available with the capacity to use the chip that is being produced and then the gas being in enough volume to power some form of 150hp engine?

Under "obtanium built for the job" file gas or oil fired tank water heaters (remove burner, deal with moving the heat so you don't overheat the thing, point the flame (or post-flame exhaust) in the bottom and connect the stack to the top) and gas or oil fired boilers (or for you hot air folks that prefer not to pass though hot water on the way there, furnaces). A large thermal store (big insulated tank of hot water, usually not under pressure) is beneficial in absorbing heat as created and doling it out as needed, and a waste heat dump of some sort is pretty much a good idea. For steel boilers, a mixing valve to keep incoming water at or above 125F to reduce corrosion is also helpful.

Often enough available cheap or even free when folks switch out an old unit - not so good if the old unit is rusted out, but many are not bad, or have problems in the parts (burners) you won't be using.

As ever when you start messing with water, heat and items that hold pressure, pay lots of attention to using temperature and pressure relief valves to keep things safe if you screw up, and control systems to keep from actually using those relief valves in practice. Steam explosions are Very Bad News.
