here's the barrels of gek that went out on monday.   we're starting to do these in larger batches and trying to get where the units are on the shelf for immediate delivery at time of order.  not quite there yet, but getting closer.   we just got a new building next door to the old shop to make the staging and shipping process more reasonable.

this batch of gek barrels went to:

- australia
- france
- russia
- canada
- michigan
- hawaii

as you see, we've come up with another "barrel" solution for the auger and pyrocoil problem- namely sonotube.  in the us sonotube is used for concrete forms.  it is burly and coated for waterproofing.  the 16" size fits perfectly around the auger drying bucket and pyrocoil, with a vastly thicker wall than any typical cardboard.  to this we've added metal caps cut from waste from the cnc plasma runs.

remember the problem here is metal edgy metal things like to bust through regular packing.  the open top steel drums solved this for the regular gek vessels and parts.  the drying bucket and pyrocoil were without a similar barrel.  the sonotube makes a reasonable one to efficiently solve their packaging too.
