Solar Chip Drying

I envision drying chips in a solar greenhouse or hoophouse on 4'x8' 2x4 framed wire mesh trays. Each tray conveniently holds about 55 gallons. Figure to chip into 55 gallon drums, dump & spread onto trays, slide into racks in greenhouse, circulate air with solar fan like at:

Thin layers should dry fairly quickly and not start composting.

My place is off the grid and I plan to keep it that way. A couple of them would circulate/exhaust air for at least an 8x16 greenhouse full of trays.

Ed Burton (I'm told he has passed away) had this dryer
water heated in solar panel
radiator with fan and pump powered by PV solar panel
chips are in garbage cans with warm air blowing in and up.

He did use larger chunks in a FEMA style I think.
