So I was browsing looking at gasifier stuff, and the fastest (official) land speed record for a wood powered car is only 47.74 mile per hour. the guys who set it where http://www.beaverenergy.com, not much info on there products though.
Anyway, I believe that all power labs could shatter that record, that cars barely moving fast enough to be on the road. You should tune up the old Accord and show 'em who's boss! (nicely of course)
quote from: http://www.beaverene...od-powered-car/
"Beaver Energy is the home of the Worlds Fastest Wood Powered Car (technical category: solid organic material). On September 17th, 2010, Beaver Energy set the World Record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah during the 24th Annual World of Speed. The speed was set at 47.74271 MPH. We hope that during next years World of Speed we’ll have some competition to break the record, we know we’ll be back with a much faster car."
