While we have fairly clean gas coming out of the GEK, the quality requirements for gtl work will be a little more strict than what we are able to get away with on engines.
Looking into electrostatic precipotators and wet esp's i stumbled upon a post that describes the attempt at making a DIY esp for use in an automobile with nothing more than a long pipe, loose chain and a high energy ignition system.

gtl == gas to liquid? Which gases are you trying to isolate? What are you trying to filter out? Or are you just trying to adjust the pH? or just trying to caputre tars or ash particles?
