Hi,
I want to build rectangular shaped gasifier to burn branches and sticks
Question is, how I can recognise if burning and reduction zones are sized good and air inlet is in right position? Is my idea to run gasifier for a while, then cut out air and let it cool down and take fuel out of it by layers to see how wood changing to charcoal and then to ash and going to smaller particles gradualy.

Medusa,  I think temp sensors will be the best way to see what is going on inside.
