- A funnel can also be made by cutting the tip off an envelope and cutting the envelope to size.
- To make a funnel, cut about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) off the pointed end of the cone.
- Using a paper plate is sometimes much faster than using a compass.
- If you make two cones, you could use them to make a sphericon!
To make the best cone, cut as perfect a circle you can. Use a compass or trace around a round object, such as a lid or container.
