I am hoping to complete following project:

1. Chp unit using fiat 1.1 gasoline engine converted to woodgas. Generated power should be in 6-10 kw range, and produce charcoal too.

2. Charcoal gasifier, as simple as possible and light weight to for mobile applications in diesel car to replace 50-70% of diesel in cruising speed. to avoid messy tar filtering. Leave tar at home, use clean charcoal.

About myself. Master degree in computer simulations. thermal simulations, ~20 installed programmable ecu for race cars, good contacts with car mechanics, own tig welder.

Hello Staska

I am Neal from California. I like your plan.  I plan to buy / make a GEK for home power (5-10kw) but I also want to make a "larossifier"
style double rotor unit for my 6.9L diesel truck using charcoal in dual fuel mode. I climb trees and have a chipper, but not all wood is worth chipping (dry, dirty, rotten will dull knives) and I think charcoal makes sence for road use in many ways.
