DIY Grid Tie

we just had a nice diy grid tie how to article written over in the gek wiki. see here: http://gekgasifier.pbworks.com/How-to-Grid-Tie

the article is a nice intro to the "easy" way to do this. however, there is a critical error in understanding how to make an induction generator grid tie safe. anyone see the problem?

also note the article linked in the comments section. this is the best article i've seen to date on the details of induction generators. it's long, but thorough. see here: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...0/ai_n8909370/

but more importantly, do understand the safety issue with the wiki article. grid tie is unfortunately not quite this easy. it is also highly illegal and with real safety issues for you and others. apl does not recommend it.
